Erin graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry and Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Wesleyan University in 2015. As an undergraduate, she worked in Dr. Erika Taylor’s lab on a project investigating the use of lignin as a biofuel. After graduating, she worked for two years in Dr. Wade Harper’s lab at Harvard Medical School where she focused on developing gene editing technology. She is interested in the involvement of oligodendrocytes in neurodegenerative diseases that are characterized by abnormal protein aggregates.
